Greetings from the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) division. You’ll find a wide and interesting array of programs and courses designed to help you find success in the career of your choice.

The STEM division’s main office can be found in the Caperton Center for Applied Technology (CCAT). Here, we present courses and labs in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology and 3D Modeling and Simulation Design.

We now have a new science wing on the main campus, providing you state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment for Chemistry, Biology, Physical Science, Anatomy and Physiology, Astronomy and Geology. These courses help support various programs at WVU Parkersburg and also serve to prepare students in professions in medicine, the sciences, research, and engineering.

When you leave one of our programs, you not only receive a college credential, but also certifications that are recognized nationwide by employers in your field of study. Examples include: CISCO, NCCER, ADDA, NATE, MCP, A+, WV Apprentice Electrician Licensure, and OSHA cards. Additionally, our programs and assessments are designed to prepare you for other national certifications, such as NABCEP, BPI, CCNA and CCNP.
