WVU Parkersburg Board of Governors awards employees outstanding service awards Parkersburg, W.Va. 2/13/13 – The West Virginia University at Parkersburg Board of Governors now recognizes college employees for outstanding service. Since October, Board chair Jamie Six has presented awards to three employees. Financial aid director Heather Skidmore was recognized at the Oct. 3, 2012 Board meeting for her exceptional service during a time of transition in the financial aid office. Workforce and Community Education (WCE) training coordinator Michele Wilson was recognized at the Feb. 6 meeting for stepping up to the plate to oversee WCE during the office's period without a vice president. Also recognized at the Feb. 6 meeting was Student Welcome Center program assistant Drema Starkey for her work and fundraising efforts on Staff Council. Congratulations to these outstanding employees.
