ADVISORY Commencement exercises are at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2011, at WVU Parkersburg. CONTACT: Connie Dziagwa, executive director, Institutional Advancement, 304-424-8203. West Virginia University at Parkersburg's Commencement exercises will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 14, in the College Activities Center. This marks the largest graduating class in the college's history and a record number of candidates for graduation are participating in the ceremonies. WV native Admiral T. Joseph Lopez, retired U.S. Navy, will be the featured speaker. The college is observing its 50th anniversary this year. cd13/511 |
