Dr. Marshall Bartlett to speak on global warming at WVU Parkersburg FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Parkersburg, W.Va. 11/8/11 – Learn how the earth’s atmosphere is changing and why in a special presentation at West Virginia University at Parkersburg. In a special presentation on Friday, Nov. 18, Dr. Marshall Bartlett will take guests on a journey examining the Earth’s geologic record to help predict the future of what he believes will be a high-carbon world. The presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. in the college theatre. An expert on global climate, Dr. Bartlett is the chair of the department of physics at Hollins University in Roanoke, Va. His presentation is sponsored by the energy programs at WVU Parkersburg. This program is free and open to the public.
