Dr. Marshall Bartlett to speak on global warming at WVU Parkersburg FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Parkersburg, W.Va. 11/8/11 – Learn how the earth’s atmosphere is changing and why in a special presentation at West Virginia University at Parkersburg. In a special presentation on Friday, Nov. 18, Dr. Marshall Bartlett will take guests on a journey examining the Earth’s geologic record to help predict the future of what he believes will be a high-carbon world. The presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. in the college theatre. An expert on global climate, Dr. Bartlett is the chair of the department of physics at Hollins University in Roanoke, Va.
