WVU Parkersburg spring classes begin Monday (Jan. 11).

Spring semester classes begin Monday (Jan. 11) at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

Students will return to campus to find the college's cafeteria in the midst of a $329,000 renovation project.  Work began over the holiday break to renovate the cafeteria to include a coffee bar, food court and restaurant style design, college officials noted. 

Some phased construction will continue when classes resume Monday with work expected to be completed in February.

Registration for the spring semester closes Jan. 15.
