FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEWV Governor Joe Manchin has appointed two Ripley residents to the Board of Governors of West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
Steve Chancey fills the seat left vacant by William Hopkins. He will assume Hopkins' unexpired term ending June 30, 2012. Cheryl Donohoe succeeds Kennad Skeen for the term ending June 30, 2014.
The Board of Governors is the local governing board of WVU Parkersburg. The institution is under the jurisdiction of the WV Community and Technical College Council.
