FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEWest Virginia University at Parkersburg will host the regional spring workshop of the West Virginia Association for Developmental Education on Friday (April 24).
The free half-day session is for faculty, academic support staff, and others involved in developmental education as well as those interested in learning more about the field.
Areas to be covered will include developmental English, math, and reading, English as a Second Language, tutoring, advising, and first-year experience.
The workshop will be held from 12:15-3:45 p.m. in the college's Community Room (Room 1300).
