FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEThe executive director of the Volunteer Action Center and Faithlink will be the featured speaker Wednesday (April 22) at West Virginia University at Parkersburg's spring Honors College Seminar.
Wendy Tuck will discuss "Stepping Up ... Civic Engagement and Volunteerism in the Mid-Ohio Valley," followed by a question and answer session. Her presentation will be held in Room 2209 at 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public
As part of the spring seminar, WVU Parkersburg honor students will display their semester project exhibitions beginning at 10 a.m. in the college's Community Room where a reception will follow the keynote presentation.
WVU Parkersburg's Honors College is designed to provide enhanced learning opportunities for talented students in both academic and career programs in an effort to enable them to develop to their fullest potential, said Gregg Busch, director of the Honors College.
