WVU Parkersburg to host Appalachian Heritage Day Nov. 10, 2009.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEA day to celebrate the people, culture and history of the Mid-Ohio Valley will be held Tuesday (Nov. 10) at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
Appalachian Heritage Day will feature blacksmiths, Civil War re-enactors, Native American dancing, beekeeping and jewelry-making demonstrations as well as representatives from area historical societies and museums.
The 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. event will be held in and near by the college's multi-purpose room. It is free and open to the public.
