WVU Parkersburg Theatre Department to present "The Colonel Bird" April 25-27, 2008.

West Virginia University at Parkersburg's Theatre Department will produce "The Colonel Bird" on April 25, 26 and 27.

Curtain time for the Hristo Boytchev satire is 8 p.m., April 25 and 26 and 2 p.m., April 27, in the college theatre.   Admission is free.

A Bulgarian political comedy, the play is a satire on post-Communist Eastern Europe in which inmates take over a forgotten mental hospital in the mountains in the Balkans.
