WVU Parkersburg to offer seven different summer sessions.

Summer classes get under way Monday (May 19) at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

Seven different sessions are scheduled:  a 12-week session, an eight-week session, two six-week terms, and three four-week terms.

The six-week, 12-week and first four-week terms begin Monday (May 19).  The eight-week session and the second four-week term begin June 16.  The second six-week session gets under way June 30 with the third four-week session starting July 14.

WVU Parkersburg is offering a variety of course delivery modes as well, noted Rhonda Richards, executive dean of academic affairs.  Students may choose from traditional classroom settings; alternative delivery courses which involve non-traditional instruction for up to 80% of the content, and electronic courses which feature internet delivery for 100% of the content.
