West Virginia University at Parkersburg's Jackson County Center will host a free presentation Thursday (April 24) by visiting Bulgarian lecturer Milena Popova.
Her interactive talk is entitled "What Makes A Place Feel Like Home - A Comparison of Bulgaria and West Virginia" and will be presented at 7 p.m., Thursday, in Room 115 at JCC.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
She is a visiting lecturer of English from the Angel Kantchev University of Ruse in Bulgaria. While at WVU Parkersburg, she has taught English composition classes as well as a class on Bulgarian history, literature and culture. She holds a master's degree in English linguistics and literature.
Her talk is sponsored by the college's Humanities Speakers Series.
