Auditions are scheduled July 28-August 1 for a production of "James and the Giant Peach," to be staged by West Virginia University at Parkersburg's Theatre Department.

The casting calls will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., July 28-August 1 in Room 1307.  Those interested in auditioning should contact Jeff Byrd, director, 304-424-8295, for an appointment.

Production dates are set for September, 12, 13 and 14.  Dramatized by Richard R. George, the play unfolds in a series of mishaps and adventures involving James, a magic peach and a cast of wacky bugs.
