Sexual assault prevention seminar to be held Nov. 12, 2007 at WVU Parkersburg.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASESexual assault is a growing problem on college campuses nationwide. A special presentation on sexual assault prevention will be held Monday, Nov. 12, at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
The 11 a.m. seminar in the college theatre will be presented by Deborah Beazley, sexual assault prevention educator at West Virginia University's Student Health Center. She coordinates sexual assault prevention and education at WVU.
Her presentation, "Welcome to the Party -- Sexual Assault: The Way It Really Happens," will include a video as well as methods to reduce the occurrence of sexual assaults. A question and answer session will follow.
The presentation is free and open to the public; however, due to the nature of the video, participants should be at last 16 years of age.
The seminar is sponsored by WVU Parkersburg's Psychology club.
