Retiring faculty and staff with a combined 175 years of service to West Virginia University at Parkersburg were among those honored at the annual Employee Recognition Brunch held at the college recently.

During the program, six retirees were honored:  Henry Aglio, associate professor of art, 30 years; Ron Atkinson, chair of the Social Sciences Division and professor of social sciences, 42 years; Bob Caim, professor of English, 32 years; Bob McCloy, professor of business, 35 years; Charlene McNulty, student health nurse, 10 years, and Carl Smith, professor of welding, 26 years.

Also recognized were staff and faculty who received service awards:  Five Years' Service - Jenny Dawkins, Charisse Favinger, Kathy Frum, Barbara Harris, Julie Heller, Deborah McGinnis and Alice Ondrusek.  Ten Years' Service - Cheryl Brumfield, Beth Cox, Brenda Elliot, Charlene McNulty, Linda Novak and Wayne Riley.  Fifteen Years' Service - Bill Dunbar, Patricia Gaston, Lisa Gianettino, Debbie Murphy and Beth Wood.  Twenty Years' Service - George Ambrose, David Gates, Cheri Parker, Rebecca Phillips and Sy Sarkarat.  Thirty Years' Service - Dennis Bell.  Thirty-Five Years' Service - Tony Crinieri, Bob McCloy, Maggie Berdine, Matt Santer and Gary Waggoner.

Other awards were presented by various campus groups, including staff council, faculty senate and student government.  The annual brunch celebrates the accomplishments and service of the institution's faculty, classified staff and administrators.
