WVU Parkersburg American Sampler

WVU Parkersburg's 19th annual American Sampler is Nov. 15, 2007.

The 19th annual American Sampler will be held Thursday, Nov. 15, at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the college's multi-purpose room. Admission to the Sampler is free. Craft items will include a variety of hand-made, hand-crafted and custom-made items from wooden utensils to jewelry and handbags.

The show features crafts by WVU Parkersburg students, faculty and staff as well as the handiwork of regional crafters. Several commercial vendors are also participating. Concessions, a "white elephant sale" and various bake sales will also be part of the sampler.

This is the 19th year for the college's craft showcase. Proceeds benefit the college's Staff Council activities.

Spaces are still available. Information regarding the show or reserving table space may be obtained by contacting Sampler coordinator Pat Mollohan at the college, 424-8208.
