WVU Parkersburg Theatre Auditions

WVU Parkersburg Theatre Department schedules auditions.

The College Theatre of West Virginia University at Parkersburg announces auditions for two upcoming productions: "The Vagina Monologues" by Eve Ensler and "The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (abridged)" by The Reduced Shakespeare Company.

Open auditions will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, and 4 p.m., Wednesday, January 18 in the College Theatre. Auditionees for "The Vagina Monologues" should have one monologue from the play and a second contrasting monologue of their choice ready to perform. Total time is not to exceed four minutes. Those auditioning for "Compleat Works" should have a comedic monologue ready to perform. Total time should not exceed three minutes.

The "Vagina Monologues" production is scheduled Feb. 17-18 and "The Compleat Works of
Wllm Shakspr (abridged)" is set for Feb. 24-26 at the college. Those interested in working with these productions in other capacities are also encouraged to attend one of the auditions.
