Recycled Percussionis a New Hampshire band that uses anything and everything to create music. The band plays with plastic buckets, metal tanks, chainsaws, jackhammers and more to create a dynamic mix of hip hop and rock music. The band has performed more than 800 shows and graced stages at NBA and NFL halftime shows, TV shows, festivals and numerous other venues.
Voted as "Campus Entertainers of the Year," Recycled Percussion features the world's fastest extreme drummer combined with intoxicating hip-hop funk grooves. Recycled Percussion has emerged from an underground live show sensation to one of the most powerful touring shows in the U.S. The band has single-handedly brought the terms "Power-Percussion" and "Junk Rock" into mainstream music circles with their acclaimed live show. Remarkable hard-rock drumming and intoxicating hip-hop funk grooves create music that is sophisticated and technical in construction, mesmerizing in execution, and a fist-pumping thrill to experience.
Tickets are available in the college business office. Prices are $10 for adults, $5 for students and WVU Parkersburg faculty and staff may purchase special advance tickets for themselves and one guest for $5 each. All tickets at the door will be regular price.
