WVU Parkersburg professor to serve as Cub Scout Pack graduation speaker.

A West Virginia University at Parkersburg professor will serve as graduation speaker for Cub Scout Pack 81's graduation ceremony Monday, April 24, at Belmont Middle School.

Robert McCloy, professor of business, will be the guest speaker at the ceremony conducted periodically to honor and recognize those Cub Scouts who have completed various advancement levels and are moving to the next higher area for achievements. 

The Cub Pack has 29 registered scouts and John Riggs serves as cubmaster.  Other adult volunteers led by Anita Yeager will participate in the 7 p.m. ceremony.

McCloy is a past president of the Allohak Boy Scout Council and has been active as a Boy Scout volunteer for more than 20 years. His comments to the Cub Scouts and adult volunteers will touch on the life of Lord Robert S.S. Baden-Powell, the founder of Boy and Cub Scouting.
