FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEA West Virginia University at Parkersburg adjunct faculty member will be one of several authors featured at the third annual Ohio River Festival of Books Saturday (April 29) in Huntington.
Joy Held, adjunct instructor in the college's Humanities Division, will sign copies of her book, "Writer Wellness, a Writer's Path to Health and Creativity," at 10 a.m. along with several other authors.
The signing is hosted by festival co-sponsor and prime vendor Border's Books, Music and Cafe of Huntington. Festival activities will take place in the Big Sandy Superstore Conference Center.
The Ohio River Festival of Books is directed by the staff of the Cabell County Public Library and is jointly supported by a half dozen local libraries. Events include lectures, panels, vendors, readings, workshops, and luncheons. Appalachian author Sharyn McCrumb headlines a list of more than three dozen writers scheduled to appear at the festival.
Held's book is a 2003 release by New Leaf Books.
