Antique/collectibles expert to conduct mini-seminars Oct. 13-15, 2006 at WVU Parkersburg.

Harry Rinker, renowned antique and collectibles expert, will conduct a series of mini-seminars and verbal appraisal clinics Oct. 13-15 at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

Along with the seminars, Rinker will conduct verbal appraisal clinics in front of live audiences. Verbal appraisal clinics provide opportunities for individuals to bring objects to a skilled appraiser in order to identify them, obtain additional information about them, receive tips on care and display, and most importantly, find out how much they are worth.

Rinker is a principal in Rinker Enterprises, Inc., a firm specializing in providing appraisal, consulting, editorial, education, media, personal appearance, research, and writing services in the antiques and collectibles field. Headquartered in Vera Cruz, Pa., Rinker Enterprises draws regularly on the expertise of advisors located throughout the United States and Canada.

Rinker hosts "Whatcha Got," a nationally syndicated antiques and collectibles radio call-in show, airing Sunday mornings between 8 and 10 a.m. Rinker hosted 78 half-hour episodes of "Collector Inspector" on the Home & Garden Television Show.  His television credits also include "Oprah," "Home Matters," "Martha Stewart Living," "Inside Edition," "Wall Street Journal Report," the "Today" show, "Good Morning America" show, and the "CBS This Morning" show.
