West Virginia University's acclaimed African Ensemble will present a free performance Monday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.  Open to the public, the program is a part of WVU Parkersburg's Diversity Week observance.  The African Ensemble is an energetic drum and dance ensemble dedicated to presenting the music and dance of various cultures of West Africa. The ensemble draws its membership from the diverse community of students at WVU. This internationally recognized ensemble has performed throughout the United States, Taiwan, and South Korea.
