WVU Parkersburg to offer information, registration sessions at the PRT Center.

Representatives from West Virginia University at Parkersburg will be at the PRT Technical Center July 25 and 26 to register students and provide general information.

WVU Parkersburg is offering courses in its automotive technology, welding technology and computer and information technology programs at the PRT for the first time this fall.

From noon to 3 p.m. on July 25 and 3 to 6 p.m. on July 26, college officials will be at the center to register students, answer financial aid questions and provide general information about classes.

"This is an opportunity for area students and their parents to find out more about what the college is offering in partnership with the PRT," noted Violet Mosser, WVU Parkersburg senior admissions counselor.

WVU Parkersburg classes begin the week of Aug. 22 at the PRT.

Tuition bills will be mailed to students' homes after they register for classes.  Payment deadline for fall classes is August 26.
