WVU Parkersburg's 34th annual Commencement will be record breaking.

West Virginia University at Parkersburg's 34th annual Commencement will feature the largest graduating class in the college’s history.
The Class of 2005 includes 300 members of which more than 140 will participate in the ceremony. Commencement will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 14, in the College Activities Center.
Serving as Commencement speaker will be WVU Parkersburg President Marie Foster Gnage. She will be presiding over her first May Commencement at the college. Faculty marshals will be Joyce Kronberg, professor of biology, and Barbara Harris, instructor of speech.
On Friday, May 13, a pinning ceremony will be held for the college's nursing candidates for graduation in the College Activities Center at 7 p.m.
A reception for the graduates and their families will follow both ceremonies in the cafeteria concourse.
