West Virginia University at Parkersburg announces auditions for "Ah,
Wilderness!," its final production of the season. Auditions will take place 5
to 7 p.m., Sunday, February 20; 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, February 21; and 4 to 8
p.m., Tuesday, February 22. Auditions will be held in the College Theatre,

Renowned playwright Eugene O'Neill's only comedy "Ah, Wilderness!" revolves
around the Miller family in the New England of the 1910s.
"Peopled with wonderfully eccentric characters, this warm and witty comedy
explores love and romance in all their many guises,"director Andrew
Clovis said. "It
also contains one of the funniest dinner scenes on record."
The cast is comprised of 14 characters and is relatively evenly split between
male and female roles. The roles cover a variety of ages. Large and small
parts are available. Auditions are open to the college community and to
area residents as well, Clovis noted.
"Ah, Wilderness!" will be staged at 8 p.m., Friday, April 8, and Saturday,
April 9, and 2 p.m., Sunday, April 10 in the College Theatre.
Additional audition information is available by contacting Clovis at 424-8295.
