WVU Parkersburg campus to observe third anniversary of 9/11.

The students, faculty and staff of West Virginia University at Parkersburg will observe the third anniversary of the Sept. 11th tragedy in quiet introspection.
A small memorial will be located in the main hallway of the college Thursday, Sept. 9 through Monday, Sept.13, with a list of the names of the nearly 3,000 victims. Area residents are invited to visit the link “Reflections” on the college’s main web page (www.wvup.edu) to leave a comment or message.
“It is important that we as a campus and a community pause to remember and reflect on the tragedy that is Sept. 11th,” noted WVU Parkersburg President Marie Foster Gnage.
The college’s Social Science Division has arranged to show several 9/11-related videos on the campus’ in-house circuit television system on Thursday, Sept. 9, Friday, Sept. 10 and Monday, Sept.13.cd090804
