Ninety student government representatives from 14 public and private colleges and universities will be attending this weekend’s spring conference of the West Virginia Student Government Association at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

WVU Parkersburg’s Student Government Association is hosting the three-day conference (begins Friday, Feb. 7), which will be held in the main campus building and the Caperton Center for Applied Technology. WVU Parkersburg SGA president Chris Mowry of Kenna will serve as conference facilitator.

In addition to WVU Parkersburg, institutions participating in the conference will include Alderson-Broaddus College, Concord College, Glenville State College, Marshall University, Ohio Valley College, Potomac State College of West Virginia University, Salem International University, Shepherd College, University of Charleston, West Liberty State College, West Virginia University Institute of Technology, West Virginia State College, and West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Guest presenters will be J. Michael Mullen, chancellor of the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, and Erik Bitterbaum, president of WVU Parkersburg.

The conference will conclude Sunday afternoon (Feb. 9).
