FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Two free public forums on "America’s Role in the World" have been rescheduled for Feb. 27 at West Virginia University at Parkersburg due to this week's inclement weather. The nonpartisan forums will be held at noon and 7 p.m. in Room 2536 at the college. They are open to the public.
Forum participants will explore a variety of perspectives on the kind of global influence America should have and how the nation’s power and resources might be used. Similar forums are being held on college campuses throughout West Virginia. The West Virginia Campus Compact and the West Virginia Center for Civic Life are co-sponsoring the statewide initiative which is part of a national network of national issues’ forums.
