Emerson Drive to perform two concerts Saturday, March 1, at WVU Parkersburg.

Tickets are available for a 9 p.m. concert by Canadian country band Emerson Drive being performed Saturday (March 1) at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

The band will appear in two shows at 7 and 9 p.m. in the college’s multi-purpose room.  The 7 p.m. show is sold out.

Emerson Drive is Billboard Magazine’s 2002 New Artist of the Year. The six-member group's self-named album features the hit singles "I Should Be Sleeping," "Fall Into Me," and "Only God."  Emerson Drive was named the 2002 Canadian Country Music Association's Group of the Year, and won the association's Rising Star Award.

Tickets are on sale in the college’s business office. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door. For additional information, contact the business office at 424-8223.
