Earth Day Carnival planned at WVU Parkersburg

"Dunk a professor" will be featured as one of several games during an Earth Day Carnival planned Tuesday (April 22) at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
The celebration of Earth Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the college's multi-purpose room. Open to the public, participants are asked to bring empty plastic soda drink bottles to be recycled. The bottles will be exchanged for coupons to play environmentally-related games and compete for prizes.
Activities will include games such as "dunk a professor," pollution buster, aluminum can throw out, and environment in "Jeopardy." The carnival is designed to raise awareness and create an environmental consciousness.
