The new program option responds to area employers’ requests for concentrated training and knowledge in a cluster of specific areas.
"The Undergraduate Certificates will provide students with a mastery of specialized skills in a short amount of time for a specific career or technology objective," Badgley explained.
To be offered will be Undergraduate Certificates in:
Architectural Design Computer Aided Design (CAD) Animation Communication Arts Communication Skills Graphic Design Medical Office Assistant, and Project Management. Students with a minimum 2.0 grade-point average in all coursework will be issued a certificate by the corresponding academic division. The certificate will be noted on the student’s transcript.
