"Leadership Jackson County" Seeking Participants
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
West Virginia University at Parkersburg is implementing a Leadership Jackson County project.
The program, developed and coordinated by Pam Braden, director of the college's Jackson County Center, is designed to provide educational scholarships to individuals to learn leadership skills by completing college classes in leadership theory and practice.
"Additionally, participants will become involved in service learning projects and implement at least one significant community and/or economic development project," Miss Braden noted.

Project funding is provided to the West Virginia Development Office through a grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission's Enhanced Distressed Counties program.
