WVU Parkersburg sets fall orientation for new students.

West Virginia University at Parkersburg will welcome new students to campus during a free Orientation 2002 program Wednesday (August 14).

 Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m. with the three-hour orientation session to start at 9 a.m. in the college’s multi-purpose room.  Parents or guests are also invited to attend the session, designed to provide information about the opportunities the college has to offer.

"We’re inviting students to ‘unleash their inner monster’ while we provide them with some tips and tools for success in college and beyond," said Violet Mosser, admissions counselor.

Following the orientation session, students may purchase an optional identification card or take a tour of the campus.  The bookstore will also be open.
