WVU Parkersburg fall classes to get underway August 19.

Fall classes begin Monday (August 19) at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

A series of welcome back activities for students is planned during the first week of classes. A cookout will be held Tuesday (August 20) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the cafeteria area. An ice cream social will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday (August 21) in the campus courtyard. On Thursday (August 22), a t-shirt airbrushing activity will be held in the cafeteria, beginning at 9 a.m.

The student government association and the college’s student activities department are sponsoring the activities.

Registration for the fall semester closes Friday, August 23.
