WVU Parkersburg student is national Coca-Cola Scholars recipient

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

A West Virginia University at Parkersburg student is the recipient of a national scholarship from the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.

Rebecca McDonald of Parkersburg has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship and is among 400 recipients nationwide.

At WVU Parkersburg, she is pursuing a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University with an emphasis on psychology.

Through the Coca-Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship Program, the Foundation awards a total of 400 scholarships annually to students attending higher education institutions granting two-year degrees. All recipients are selected based on their demonstrated academic success and community service commitment in the past 12 months.
