Community Leaders to Help Open New ACT Center

West Virginia University at Parkersburg will officially open its new ACT Center, a state-of-the-art testing and training facility, on Wednesday (April 24).
An open house/grand opening will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the center, located in the college’s Business, Industry and Development Services building. The grand opening is open to area residents.
The ACT Center is designed to help area residents advance their educations and careers by using the Internet and other technologies to provide fast, effective testing and training services, according to Michele Wilson, ACT Center director.
The center is one of only four in West Virginia. Others are located at Fairmont State College, Marshall University and West Virginia Northern Community College.
