"Parenting Alone" Seminar

A free seminar on "Parenting Alone" will be held Thursday (Oct. 4) at West Virginia University at Parkersburg in observance of National Mental Health Awareness Week.

The 7 p.m. program will feature Ramona Warren Tennison who will discuss mental health issues affecting single parents. The seminar will be held in the auditorium of WVU Parkersburg’s Caperton Center for Applied Technology. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Author, speaker, pastor, mother and grandmother of 17, Mrs. Tennison is the author of "Nurturing Nursery," "Loving Legacy," "Enjoying Life with Little Ones," and "Parenting Alone." She is pastor of ministry at North Parkersburg Baptist Church. She received her bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences from the National College of Education. She presents workshops at conventions and seminars throughout the United States.
