Spring Welding Classes Offered at PRT Center

West Virginia University at Parkersburg is offering several college welding classes at the PRT Technical Center this spring.

The PRT courses begin Wednesday, Jan. 10.

Courses being offered include WELD 121 Basic SMAW Welding; WELD 122 Intermediate SMAW Welding; WELD 131 Basic Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW); WELD 132 Advanced GTAW; WELD 134 Basic GMAW-FCAW; WELD 233 Code Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW); WELD 236 Code GMAW-FCAW; WELD 251 Code Welding.

Anyone interested in the classes can learn more about them by calling the center at 304-684-2464 or the WVU Parkersburg campus at 424-8000. Also, the spring course schedule is available on the Internet at www.wvup.wvnet.edu.

The Parkersburg campus will be closed the week of Dec. 25 and reopen Jan. 2.
