New officers have been elected for the West Virginia University at Parkersburg Alumni Association.
Serving for the 2000-2001 year will be Marvin Boyce, president; Ann Frost, vice president; JoAnn Backus, secretary; Shuan Butcher, treasurer; Charles Helmick, parliamentarian, and Carol St. Peter, historian.
Elections were held during the association’s annual reception/reunion meeting. Guest speakers for the session included WVU Parkersburg President Erik Bitterbaum, and Beth McNally, executive director of the WVU at Parkersburg Foundation. Dianne Davis, newly hired development assistant/alumni affairs, was introduced to the group in attendance.
The next meeting of the alumni association will be at 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 13, in the Business, Industry and Development Services Center on the college campus. The session is open to all alumni and friends of the college. Additional information is available by contacting Ms. Davis at 424-8340.
