Film Series Continues

West Virginia University at Parkersburg’s Humanities Division continues its Foreign Language Film Series with Wolfgant Peterssen’s "Das Unterseeboot (The Submarine)" on Friday, March 17, at 7 p.m.

The free presentation will be held in C102 in the Caperton Center for Applied Technology on the WVU Parkersburg campus.

The story is about a German U-96 submarine in the North Atlantic during WWII but it is not a war movie. It is a gripping tale of terror, struggle, panic, desperation, life and death with an utterly shocking ending. This fascinating German film with subtitles in English is free and open to the public. Because of limited seating, those planning to attend are asked to pick up free tickets in the college’s Humanities Office.
