Application Procedures Applications accepted September 15 to December 1 each year. Each applicant must submit:
Only completed applications submitted by December 1 will be considered for admission. After December 1, all applicants will be notified of the schedule for the PSB examination. This exam is required and the cost of the exam (currently $10) must be assumed by the applicant. The examination takes two and one-half hours to complete and measures general aptitude in health occupations. Basic Skills Requirements Demonstrate competency in English, reading, and mathematics as determined by ACT and/or College placement tests or complete required foundation courses at the college. Physical Examination After formal acceptance into the Surgical Technology program, students must have a physical examination and submit the results to the Health Sciences office. Students must be able to engage in educational and training activities in a manner that does not endanger themselves or others. The Hepatitis B vaccination series must also be completed prior to September 1. Update Students who are not accepted and wish to be considered for the following year will need to update their application between September 15 and December 1 by contacting the Health Sciences office.This web page maintained by Health Sciences Division office.
