The Penny Ayers Moellendick Nursing Scholarship Fund was established by Dr. Mel Okeon in honor of Penny Moellendick who served as a nurse, primarily in the emergency and intensive care units of St. Joseph's Hospital. This scholarship assists non-traditional female students pursuing a degree in nursing.
