The Carol H. Hamill Memorial Scholarship was made possible by her friends, relatives and associates. The fund was endowed in 1984 by the WVU-Parkersburg Foundation Board of Directors. Mrs. Hamill, a retired bank executive, had served as a member of the Board of Directors for the WVU at Parkersburg Foundation for several years prior to her death in February, 1984. The scholarship is available to students in all academic fields.
