The WVU at Parkersburg Foundation, Inc. is an
Masresha is the 2010 reciptient of the Henry Logan Scholarhsip provided through theWVU at Parkersburg Foundation, Inc. She is an independent student raising a daughter and the first in her family to attend college. Maresha is able to pursue her career goal of being a nurse with the support provided by the Henry Logan Scholarship and the colleges Early Learning Center.

Masresha Tilhahun

 independent, non-profit, tax-exempt corporation organized to promote and support WVU Parkersburg.  It is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of business and community leaders.  WVU at Parkersburg's Foundation awards more than 110 scholarships annually to students who demonstrate strong academic performance.  The Foundation also provides funds for faculty development, student art awards and other institutional support
.


Continuing Commitment

The private support provided through the Foundation serves a particularly important role at the college.  The various gifts administered by the Foundation have contributed more than $1 million in scholarships to students, added significantly to the ongoing education of faculty and provided opportunities for student education through study abroad, art awards and improved educational resources.  For more than 30 years, the Foundation has helped the college maintain its goal of providing quality higher education in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
