Occupational Development Associate in Applied Science Degree
in Partnership with American Electric Power

Convert your AEP apprenticeship program into a college degree. West Virginia University at Parkersburg and American Electric Power are partnering together to offer an Associate in Applied Science degree to AEP linesman who have completed their U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship program through AEP.  Click here for detailed information.

Upon completion of this Associate of Applied Science degree, students can pursue a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

 

There are three components to the degree:                             

General Education (college courses) 15 Hours
Occupational Training (apprenticeship) 33 Hours
On-the-Job Training 12 Hours
Total     60 Hours
