Student Concerns

“O” level prerequisites – Christine noted that she was asked by a number of JCC faculty to discuss with CREW the “rumor” of the elimination of zero level prerequisites for classes.  Danita said that this is the first she had heard about it and would talk with the Executive Dean.

Search Updates

Tim indicated that interviews for the Director of Admissions and Records will begin within a week.

Dean’s Updates

Danita stressed how important it is that everyone be working toward the same goal as a division.  She said that we must all be willing to go above and beyond in order to be effective and productive.

Grants searches were discussed and Danita emphasized how important is that we seriously look at all grant opportunities in order to fund programs, for special purchases, and to achieve all our initiatives.

Danita asked that everyone be mindful of what they say and how they spend their “down time.”  People are not always your friends and may be watching.
