Vision

-          Student centered approaches. Students  come first.

-          We have to change our thinking; we need to find what guides us.

-          Change is not going to happen overnight!  The problems/issues did not occur over night; therefore they will not change overnight.

-          Dean of Students is not a high school principal!  Many problems could be alleviated by basic classroom management, streamlining, and people following policies in place and being consistent.

-          We are not an extension of high school.  We are a college!

-          We should be compassionate and empathetic, but not ENABLERS!

-          Immediate customer service needs to occur in each area

-          Technology driven

-          We need to be the trailblazers!  If we continue to do things, provide services, promote programs in the same way, we will never advance and move forward.

-          “Partners in learning” – We need to enhance and support the academic mission of the university.
