HEPC Al distributed copies of a memo from W. Joseph Wyatt, Ph.D., at Marshall University. This memo was to ask for help from Staff Council to reinstate a staff, faculty and student representation on the HEPC. Dr. Wyatt has asked for 10 minutes at the December 13th HEPC meeting to present this case. His request is that our Staff Council passes a resolution in favor of adding these three members to the HEPC, or a letter writing campaign, or personal contact with the HEPC members or legislators. Staff Council voted to write a resolution to send to Dr. Wyatt.
MOVIE TICKETS Staff Council voted to make tickets available for purchase in two different locations at the college; from Kim Fluharty and Drema Starkey.
STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK Discussion was made about acquiring extra funds to finance the Staff Appreciation Week program. Various fund raisers were suggested and plans are to be implemented. If you have any suggestions, please contact Donna Uhl in the Library, ext. 260.
