President’s Conference Room

Those present were: Marie Foster Gnage, Joe Badgley, Pam Braden, Jack Simpkin, Dan Williamson, Curt Fulmer, Connie Dziagwa, Paul Daugherty, Dotty Muir and Patsy Bee

Strategic Plan Follow-up

President Gnage announced that she would like to have an end-of year review on the Strategic Plan that would show how each area of the college is in meeting our goals. 

Format

President Gnage suggested that each goal be listed in the report with a list of accomplishments following each goal.  She would also like to have a list of off-campus professional engagements activities and accomplishments for the year for each of the areas.

Discussions among the Council concluded that the report should be concise and show something for every goal.

Dr. Badgley reported that he just attended the annual meeting of the Higher Learning Commission of North Central Association and they emphasized the importance of documenting and archiving meeting minutes and other documents leading to the development and implementation of the strategic plan and other important documents needed for our 2014 accreditation review.

Council members agreed that the Strategic Plan Report would be published and distributed by the beginning of next year.

With no further business to be discussed, the meeting adjourned.
