COLLEGE CHORALE CONCERT. The College Chorale of West Virginia University at Parkersburg will present its Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 1001 Juliana Street, Parkersburg. The concert will include sacred works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Adrian Batten, Dimitri Bortnianski, and W.A. Mozart, poetic settings by Ola Gjeilo, Chen Yi, Halsey Stevens, and Gwyneth Walker, and the premiere of a new setting of Mary of the Wild Moor, a West Virginia folk song, arranged by West Virginia State University professor Dr. Dirk Johnson. The College Chorale is conducted by Dr. H.G. Young III, Professor of Music. The concert is FREE and the public is invited.

CULINARY ARTS ACADEMY OPEN HOUSE. CITIZEN OF THE YEAR. Dr. Marie Foster Gnage has been selected as the 2012 Citizen of the Year by Parkersburg Elks Lodge 198. The banquet honoring Gnage will be at
